The Weekly Top 5: June 19, 2008

There follows an arbitrary and partial list of the five things I most enjoyed on the Internet this week. It is neither voted for, crowdsourced, comprehensive nor exhaustive. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

1. Bicycle Tutor
I’ve got a bike, you can ride it if you like. It’s got a basket and bell that rings and things to make it look good. But only because Bicycle Tutor – a series of video bike repair tutorials – has helped me keep it on the road.

2. Twisted balloon instrument

While this is incredible, imagine if this guy put his mind to solving some of the world’s problems instead of playing Queen’s Another One Bites the Dust on a balloon-based instrument. What a sweet place it would be.

3. Extending Album covers
The bits of album covers you never saw. From b3ta.

4. Yaris Alkublitz
The art world’s take on the Guinness/Creme Egg/Honda chain reaction video. Please let this be an end to this particular phenomenon for a while.

5. Parker and Stone vs. Alan Watts Mashup
Alan Watts believes we are meant to sing and dance when the music’s being played. He clearly hasn’t heard my voice or seen my moves.
