To celebrate the fact that Twitter just raised another $35 million dollars of venture money last week, here's a list of my 10 favourite Twitter apps/web apps/mashups: Power Twitter is a Firefox plug-in which enhances the Twitter Web interface, allowing users to upload pictures and search Twitter amongst other things. A new model for digital creativity?

A fascinating post from Randall Rothenberg at IAB criticising the state of digital creativity; a problem he ascribes to the overly analytic influence of direct marketing. He concludes the piece by arguing for a new tri-partite creative model which includes technologists as well as art directors and writers. All of which seems to make a great deal of sense to me.

Microsoft Songsmith: part II

Is Microsoft Songsmith a clever joke? (See below). Most of the blogosphere seems to think not. Even the NY Times isn't sure. Personally speaking, I thought it was a joke the first time I saw it and I still do. But then I also thought that house prices were going to keep on rising for ever, so maybe I'm not the best person to listen to. If Crispin Porter do turn out to be behind what would be a fairly large and elaborate hoax, will it really help shift perceptions of the brand.?
